Yesterday I posted the first shots and first details on Killzone 3. Now, checking the feeds I noticed that Sony's just confirmed the release date for Killzone 3 as May 2011 and announced that the game will have 4 players coop. Coop is very good news and the release date is about 2 years after the release of the first game. Details from yesterday and screenshots in the next paragraph.

In the weekend I'v posted scans from GamesPro, Sony Computer Entertainment today officially announced Killzone 3 and published the first screenshots. The game will support 3D technology and will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Guerrilla, the game creators have promised that the levels will be 10 times bigger than in Killzone 2.
